Stanwood Youth Football (SYF) is a division of the Stanwood-Camano Junior Athletics Association (SCJAA) a 501(c)(3) non-profit Washington Corporation. SYF is the only Stanwood-Camano youth tackle football program serving ages five to fourteen years old.  
 

• On average SYF enrolls 170-200 youth in our Fall Tackle Football season annually.
•  SYF is considered a feeder program for the Stanwood High School Football program.
• SYF relies heavily on fundraising and sponsorships to maintain an affordable program for our families. As of 2023 the $300 annual enrollment has not increased in several years. In some cases, we provide discounted fees for divisions that may need additional enrollment. 
• SYF scholarships 10-12 kids on average annually. This allows athletes to compete who may not financially be able to afford the enrollment fee. 
• Our main goal is to get as many local kids engaged in the sport of football!
• While our base fee helps cover some operating expenses, our total cost per player is typically around $1,000 per season. This leaves a significant gap which requires us to seek sponsorships, grants and perform fundraising activities.
• As our program continues to grow, we must invest in new equipment regularly and recondition qualifying equipment to ensure we are fielding players in the safest manner possible!
