Welcome to the 2024 Fall Tackle Football registration with Stanwood Youth Football!

Stanwood Youth Football is a youth tackle football organization. We serve children, both boys and girls, between the ages of 6 and 14 years old. Stanwood Youth Football serves the communities of Stanwood and Camano Island. Our organization prides itself on being a feeder program to the Stanwood High School football team.

Stanwood Youth Football is committed to providing a well-organized athletic program for the youth of our community. Stanwood Youth Football is committed to a program that promotes fun, skill development, healthy competition, and good sportsmanship.

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.

NEW FOR 2024 SEASON (PLEASE READ)

In 2024 Stanwood Youth Football has become an official Affiliate partner of USA Football. USA Football is the premier football organization for youth tackle programs across the U.S.. While this has no impact on gameplay or opponents, it does provide SYF's Board, Coaches, Parents & Players a significant amount of resources previously unavailable to SYF.  Additionally, it sets standards by which we operate which will ensure SYF remains a premier program in the PNW for years to come. 

New for this year will be the requirement that each player and coach register with USA Football. During this registration process you will be asked to link out to USA Football and purchase a membership for each player, similar to other programs like USA Wrestling or USA Lacrosse. This is a requirement to play. Your USA Football membership comes with many benefits, including access to resources to help learn the game, eligibility for National Team Trials, Camps and Competitions, access to USA Football's online community and participant accident insurance at $100,000 + $10,000 for Accidental Death & Dismemberment. This insurance policy will work as a primary policy for any injury sustained during football activities.

 

You will need to pay the $35 membership fee directly to USA Football. SYF is reducing the registration rate by $15 to $285 per player to help offset the cost of this program. SYF has been fortunate through fundraising to not have to raise the registration rate over the last many years, but financially the program cannot absorb the entire cost of $35 per player. 

 

In addition to nationally accepted policies and procedures that SYF will be implementing, USA Football also provides expanded insurance coverage to the league, allowing us to be aligned with other premier leagues in the U.S. 

 

We are excited about the expanded benefits and national recognition this brings to your program.
